April is full of fun

This is my way of documenting things the boys do , so this is full of random happenings in April .  We spend every moment we can outside and always manage to get wet and dirty.  Parker loves animals and ball. Reid loves spraying water and digging in the dirt.  

Parker loved riding the pony at the Spring Festival.

We had a little fall early one Friday morning.  Parker and Daddy were  downstairs and Parker tripped and hit the coffee table.  A few strips and glued together made us all better.  We still have a big gap, probably our first scar. 

Reid would not , under any circumstances look at the camera during his pony ride.  He is in a phase of no pictures.  And I had to capture Parker in the car reading a book. He fell asleep with his finger pointing to a picture.  

We went to Wal-Mart to pick out our new bike.  He still can't pedal real well and he gets mad at the bike.  He does not have much patience.  He was more excited about the Fruity Pebbles Daddy bought than the new bike. He ate three bowls that night. :)  We are excited for more Spring time adventures.  I, on the other hand, don't get much free time to get alot done. Neither boy takes a nap and for sure not at the same time. I have had my dining room taped off to paint for two months.  Oh well, maybe someday I will get to it. We do have a nice looking yard and pretty flowers though. Mark has planted tons of stuff and fertilized, etc.  

Happy Birthday Reid!!

Reid Allen Estep , Happy Birthday my little peanut !! You are three years old. Time flies, but it has been so much fun and changed our lives in the best way possible.  You always keep me busy and I love so many things about you, a few being: the way you always want popcorn before bed, how you try and comfort your brother when he cries by shoving a binky in his mouth, your constant desire to learn and ask what letter things start with and how are they spelled, love to throw things in water (pond), staying up late way too much, your strong willed spirit, how you say " I love you too Mommy", loving all your family,and the list goes on.  I pray this year is filled with much fun , learning,and new discoveries and that you always know how much we love you.

Just some random pics from the last week. In brief it snowed so Reid and Daddy built a snow "slide", we made cupcakes. Reid loves to make them , Parker loves to eat them .  I took some photos for fun, lots of brotherly love going on here :)

Thursday and Friday were nice outside so we played as much as we could.  We went to two park, two wagon rides and alot of running around.  Now it is snowing , blah.  Old man weather , please go away soon. We are boys and we like to be outside. 

Outside fun

     On some of the nice days the last month we have tried to take advantage of going outside.  A few weeks ago we went to Leonardo's in Enid and that was a big hit. Reid loved the play wood fort and Parker loved the swing.  We have also gone to the park a few times this week when it was nice.  Papa met up with us one day when he had the day off.  What fun !!  My boys are full of energy and both a lot ornery.  It is funny to see Parker learn the ropes from his big brother.  He will not have a problem taking care of himself when it comes to rough housing I am sure of it already.  We are excited for spring to arrive so we can play in the dirt and go on walks and ............................ anything to be outside will be nice.  We are throwing our binkys out on Thursday .  If you see me around this weekend and I don't have much hair left you will now I pulled it out in the process.  

Happy Birthday Parker Cade!!

Parker turned one on Jan 29. We had to cancel his party because of the weather. We had it yesterday instead.  Aunt Shanna made an awesome Mickey cake, JaJa made posters, Gran made some food. It was fun. He cried when we sang Happy Birthday. Thanks everyone for coming.  I hate my babies growing so fast. As I type they are fighting over a toy Aunt Janice got Parker.  Thanks everyone who attended and helped.  

Mama's boys!!

These boys are the loves of my life.  I have so much to be thankful for and so many fun new things to look forward to in 2010.  Wow didn't this year seem so far away when we were young.  But then again turning 34 seemed super old to me back then too, so ........ here I am.  Parker turns 1 at the end of this month so we went for a little photo shoot. Well Reid was not into it much , but oh well, I expected that.  Parker is almost walking but not just yet.  He does however move like the wind, stand on anything he can climb on, go straight for the stairs anytime he can get away and fall and hit his head on something at least twice a day.  He says "Ugh" to about anything and loves his brother.  Should I mention we hold him when he sleeps or he sleeps with us.  Oh the things I said I would never do. 

Reid is too funny. He now recites parts of the movie UP which is so cute.  Yes he watches it in parts at least once a day.  We are trying really hard to break him of his binky and potty train.  He has his good and bad days.  I think having a baby brother when he was only 20 months made it harder for us to break him earlier. Oh well, he will be 15 before I know it.  I love to tuck him in or to hear him out of the blue say " I love you Parker" .  2010 is going to bring us many more learning experiences and time to grow as a family.
